Jesus Came To Seek And Save The Lost!

Dear ones in Christ,
God is the immediate help that is always available. When you cry out to Him for help, He is always there for you. He will immediately respond saying, “ Here I am”. He is the same God who introduced to Moses as “I am”. And He’s the same today, reaching out to you in your distress.

Often, when you are stuck somewhere and need help, you run for human help. And when everything fails, only then you seek God’s help. But this should not be so. God should be your first help. When you call upon Him, He will immediately respond to your prayers. If you think you have many shortcomings and have done many wrong deeds in the past and don’t have the courage to go close to God. Then, let not all that hinder you from going close to your Daddy and seeking His help. Bible says that Jesus came to save the sinners, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance” (Mark 2:17). Apostle Paul affirms the same by saying, “This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.” (1Timothy 1:15)
Dear friends, Jesus loves you just the way you are. His love is unconditional. Jesus spent most of His time with the sinners, tax-collectors, the outcast and the sick people. A very clear mention of Zacchaeus is in the scriptures. He was the chief tax collector and a wealthy man. He had cheated people of their money. Once when Jesus was passing through the city, he had a desire to see Jesus. But since he was a man of short stature he quickly climbed the tree, just to have a glimpse of Jesus. Amongst the crowd, Jesus saw him and was pleased to visit his house. This simple act of Jesus, transformed his life. He decided to distribute his wealth amongst the poor. To this Jesus replied, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man, came to seek and to save the lost.” ( Luke 19:9-10)

The same thing will happen in your life too. You need to cry out to Him and say, “Abba Father, I am coming to you Oh Lord”. The Lord will surely hear your cry and as it’s written in the scriptures He will, “ Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me” ( Psalm 51:12). God is willing to answer all your prayers. You need to go to Him. Don’t let anything hold you back from the love of Jesus. He cares for you and is always there for you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I come before you with all my shortcomings and weakness. I place all my needs before you. I believe that you have forgiven me of all my sins. I am your child lord and want to be filled with your spirit. May I grow strong in your word each and every day.
In Jesus name I pray.
Amen
