Jesus, An Indescribable Gift To Humanity

Dear Ones,
God loves you immensely and wants you to have life eternal. That’s the reason He gave His only Son, Jesus for humanity. Jesus, being the King of kings and the Lord of Lords became like us and descended on earth to give us life in its fullness. He became a curse for us in order to deliver us from all curses and bondages as found in the verse, “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us” (Galatians 3:13).

Are there times you get discouraged when nobody looks at you; nobody wants to talk to you? Today, I want to encourage you saying, don’t look down at yourself as you are precious to Jesus. He will turn everything in your favor, because He’s mindful of you. You may think, you’re of a lowly stature, what good can you bring to this world. But the Bible says, “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong” (1 Corinthians 1:27).

In the name of Jesus, I want to motivate you to live a hopeful life. God is working in your lives and will work beyond your imagination, beyond what you ask for. Bible says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20). No matter what your condition is, try to share the burden of others. Don’t be ashamed to do any meager task, if it’s solely meant to help others in their sorrows.
At this point, let me share with you about a missionary, who visited Manila (Philippines) with his family. He was shocked to see the plight of the people. They were all living at landfill sites. They had never gone into the town for fetching the food items. From generation to generation they have been managing with whatever was available around. He was deeply moved to see their pathetic condition. Moved with compassion, he decided to live with them. He also placed his tent amongst theirs. From the next day on, this missionary asked his children also to collect food like these people and they fed themselves. This way, the missionary was delighted to share their pain and lived with them as if he belonged there.

Imagine if a fellow brother can do this, how much more your Heavenly Father will do for you? That’s the reason He gave His Son, who humbled Himself, became a bondservant and came in the likeness of men.

Therefore, dear ones! Stop blaming your conditions and instead, thank the Lord for all that He has blessed you with. Even if you are not pleased with what you have and your way of living, place your trust in Him and as He has promised, He will give you, your heart’s desire. “Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4). Jesus is your fulfillment and you need to look to Him to learn from Him. Then you will never whine over your uncomfortable situation.
Father God, 
I humbly come before you, to seek your help in my life. Thank you for giving Jesus, who has given me the gift of life. May I never be ashamed of my circumstances and always remember that, my King Jesus became a bondservant for me.
