God Will Change The Evil Into Good

Dear children of God,
It is but natural to face trials and tribulations as we live in this world. At the same time, you should not lose courage but be strong in the lord. When you read the book of Ezra in chapters 7 and 8, you see that prophet Ezra requested God to let His hand be upon him. So, you should seek God’s help to face the struggles in this world and never get disheartened, as our loving Savior said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). Yes! Only our God is an all powerful God who can change all the evil into good.

Likewise it happened in the life of Joseph. He too faced many sufferings through his brothers. Lot of evil was wrought against him, yet he was forgiving towards his brother’s and said, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives,” ( Genesis 50:20). God was with Joseph and made him the governor in the land of Egypt. This way he could help his brothers and father with food as there was sever famine in the land. And that’s what the Bible says, very rightly, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28). Though Joseph faced many hardships and misfortune, yet the lord worked all together for his good and the good of his siblings and aging father. Only God, can turn all the misfortunes and difficulties in your life for your good.
In this context, I would like to share with you a real- life incident. Several years back, there was a man of God, Bhagat Singh who lived in the city of Hyderabad. He used to organize prayer conventions, which was attended by great multitude of people. Soon after the meetings, everybody used to have food quickly, as they had to catch a train at 9pm for Chennai. On once such occasion, after the prayers, it got very late and the entire group missed the train. All of them started cursing the man of God and the others who asked them not to leave till they had their dinner. But the very next day, the same group started thanking God for having missed their train. The reason was the bridge, on which the train was running, it collapsed and lot of casualty took place. Only few could survive. They all thanked the Lord and confessed “whatever happens, happens for good”.

My dearly beloved, our God is impartial ( Acts 10:34). Whatever He does, He does it for your good. All His plans and purposes for your life are for your best. Though you may not understand why things are delayed. But you just have to trust the lord and hold on to His promises. God who blessed and exalted Joseph, will honor you and your family. In this New Year, let us cling to His promises and trust Him whole heartedly, “ Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” ( Ephesians 3:20). Receive all God’s goodness and mercies in your life and stay blessed!
Prayer:
Loving God,
Give me the strength to face the hardships in life. I know that you will make all things work out for good for me. Let me not be discouraged in life for any evil that comes on me. You are the powerful God and I believe that you will turn all the evil and misfortunes to good, in my life.
